| 説明 | Built in 1905, the Parkersburg Carnegie Library building has been the home of Trans Allegheny Books, West Virginia's largest used bookstore since 1985. A wrought iron and brass spiral staircase, a stained glass window, and hand carved mantles and an oak staircase link the past to the present and elicit the seductiveness of early 20th century. Paranormal investigators have captured pictures of the spirits inside the bookstore. So convincing was the evidence that it helped land the investigators a job with the television show 'Scariest Places on Earth'. Ghost hunters and psychics proclaim the store has at least five primary spirits; three women, a man and a young girl.Trans Allegheny buys and sells books from estates. Ghosts may possibly attach themselves to books and other family heirlooms, thereby giving credence to the hauntings. After hours private ghost hunts are offered for up to 25 people in a group. |
