| 説明 | It was cramped, and I only had 100 watts to play with, but the view was fantastic. From this spot I talked to other operators in every part of the world except Greenland. Seawater has a near-magical effect on high-frequency radio signals, making them travel much farther. I had 2,500 to 9,000 miles of it in every direction, including a straight-line, all-seawater signal path to southern Africa. Parking on seawater-saturated volcanic ground helped also. Maui and Molokai islands are faintly visible on the horizon. |
