| 説明 | Dukes Creek is surprisingly tranquil. Although we ran into a few hikers along the trail, you can tell it isn't very often traveled. The trail is surprisingly easy, and is .9 miles long...great for a short jog or stroll with the family. At the end you're treated to the actual fall itself. Here's a description I found from another website:These falls drop about 150 feet down sheer granite canyon and into Dukes Creek. A well-designed trail switches its way into Dukes Creek Gorge, ending at the base of the falls.Directions: Take GA 75 north from Helen for 10 miles to its junction with GA 356 and Alternate 75. At the bridge, cross the Chattahoochee River and go 2.2 miles to the Richard Russell Scenic Highway. Turn right and go 2 miles to the Dukes Creek Falls Recreation Area sign. |
