| 説明 | Here you can see the altar, apse, and some of the transept of St. Peter's Basilica -- Basilica di San Pietro. I think I got lucky when I visited, back in 2008 -- I was just walking around, completely in awe of the architecture, art, and monumental scale, when a bunch of priests (cardinals?) started some kind of procession down the middle of the church. They were swinging incense censers and everything.It felt a little bit irreverent to take a photo of such a congregation... but... well... it was worth it I think. |
