| 説明 | About 40 high school students from Seoul, Pyeongtaek and Daegu visited Humphreys Garrison on May 20, 2009 as part of the U.S. Forces Korea Good Neighbor English Camp. While at Humphreys the students had the opportunity to try the climbing wall and basketball court in one of the new gyms on post. They also visited with the Soldiers who fly and maintain the AH-64 Apache, UH-60 Black Hawk and CH-47 Chinook helicopters.The English Camp provides students with the opportunity to visit American military bases on the Korean peninsula, meet and speak English with American military personnel and learn about the roles and missions of the American military in Korea.The English Camp is an annual event sponsored by USFK and is part of the command's Good Neighbor Program.U.S. Army photos by Bob McElroyFor more information on U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys and living and working in Korea visit: USAG-Humphreys' official web site or check out our online videos. |
