| 説明 | I have been visiting the Wandoo tree in my backyard. There is only a small branch that is at eye height, but there is a lot of activity on it. Spiders, ants, stinkbugs, ants, flies and wasps.I was checking up on my spiders and saw these beautiful wasps laying their eggs on galls on a leaf. It is interesting to note the ovipositor on the wasp. The ovipositor sheath has stayed pointing backward while the ovipositor is pushed down into the gall between the back and Zosterops has a much clearer photo of this happening on a different genus wasp.Better view |
