| 説明 | In a meadow-like area dominated by Wyethia amplexicaulis, Cordylanthus capitatus forms dense patches but is also common but less dense in the sagebrush steppe throughout the Jarbidge area. The flowers of this hemi-parasite were visited most commonly by a species of the bee genus Bombus. This site lies in open parkland adjacent to and with patchy mountain big sagebrush steppe near the trailhead to the East Fork of the Jarbidge River (and just east of Jack Creek Camp). |
