Fruit somewhat angular, smooth, with two large, oily seeds. All parts poisonous but can be medicinal for toothache, skin sores, and as a purgative, if used judiciously.The milky juice of Thevetia peruviana is highly toxic on account of its cardiac glycoside content, and has been used as a vesicant also records that it may cause dermatitis.
