| 説明 | This crab spider is one of many that live on a tree in our back yard. It uses a leaf to build a house. I spent many hours standing with my camera waiting to get a photo of the spider and observed some interesting ways to catch an ant.Notice in this photo that it looks like the spider is eating the ant but no, the spider is feeding the ant a clear liquid.Notice that there is another clear 'spider spit' on the leaf, away from the spider.
