| 説明 | The class E 03 (class 103 after 1968) electric locomotive was the flagship locomotive of the DB for many years. Prototypes were built in 1965. Serial production was in 1970-1973, with a total of 149 units. Design specifications required class E 03 to pull a 400 ton train at 200 kph (125 mph) on level ground. Some models had higher top speeds. This locomotive is about to be detached from my train at Emmerich, on the Netherlands-Germany border. It was replaced with an NS locomotive for the rest of the trip to Amsterdam. |
