| 説明 | For many, Sheil Road is more synonymous with red lights than blue lights, but not today.It did get me thinking...in the 21st century Newsham Park doesn't have many great boasts, but it's actually a pretty good place to have a car crash.This collision has taken place when a vehicle attempting a right turn from Sheil Road into Boalder Street has been struck by an oncoming vehicle.If you drew a line between Tuebrook Police Station and the A&E at the Royal, and then another line between the Fire Station in Kensington and the Ambulance Station on Lower Breck Road then this juntions is pretty much where they intersect, and none of them more than a mile away.I suspect that this outstanding response is a combination of that geography and that it was otherwise a fairly quiet Saturday afternoon. I don't think we'd have had two fire engines and two police cars on a match day! |
