| 説明 | OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA Chalcosyrphus eunotus is a hoverly species with a peculiar ecology: its larvae live under the bark of submerged dead wood in well oxygenated streams. Its occurrence in Belgium was formerly believed to be restricted to rivers in the Ardennes, but we now know that it also occurs in a number of smaller brooklets and streams in the Forêt de Soignes/Zoniënwoud in the Brussels Region. The number of known occurrences of the species in Belgium is likely to increase even further in the coming years. |
