| 説明 | My garden.Golden Hops climbing up the pergola, with pink Schizostylis coccinea 'Major' flowering below, and Callistemon citrinus 'Red Clusters' to the right. The lavender here is Lavandula 'Hidcote'.The Callistemon here is a vigorous, medium sized Bottlebrush whose leaves smell of lemon when crushed. This specimen is growing in my garden in West Sussex - although it was cut down to the ground during the harsh winter of 2008/09, it soon sprouted new shoots, and has grown about a metre in the year following. It does not have a specific flowering period, although it is at its peak during the summer. This photo was taken before the hard winter. The Callistemon had previously grown happily through several "normal" winters. |
