In addition to deploying to the field and setting up their logistics area and headquarters, 3rd Battalion troops planned, prepared, rehearsed and executed the airlift mission -- which included a dozen 105 mm howitzers and 10th Mountain Division troops -- within 72 hours of receiving it.
