| 説明 | The Südostbahn circular course S4 leaves the 163 m long Tal-Tunnel in direction of Herisau station. This tunnel was constructed in open-cast mining and 1910 put into operation. A refurbishment in 2011 became a pilot project in tunnel construction. On only one weekend the tunnel floor was lowered and new concreted. This was possible with a new concrete preparation with secret binder additives. The result was that the concrete could be processed for two hours and then became abruptly hard and could be burdened after a short time. In order to confuse imitators of the recipe, there were used also additives which did nothing. The procedure worked perfectly. If and when it was reused, I don't know. Switzerland, March 30, 2017. |
