| 説明 | Found on same flowers as the Hairy-footed Flower Bee (Anthophora plumipes) posted earlier, this is a cleptoparasite of those bees. It lays its eggs in their nests and the Melecta maggot hatches earlier than the Anthophora, eats the hosts eggs and any larvae it finds then lives on the food stored by the hard-working Anthophora. |
