| 説明 | Brass to Adam de Walsoken (died 1349) and his wife Margaret. He was a Burgess and Mayor of Lynn. The lower part of the brass shows a harvest and windmill.The brass is very worn as it was once located at the church entrance with many people walking on it.The Thornton Brass in Newcastle claims to be the largest brass in England, and this brass probably comes a close second, at 305cm by 175cm. It is larger than the Braunche Brass next to it in the minster. |
