| 説明 | Every now and then one of my quirky pet causes stands up and does something that makes me tear up with pride. Today it's Creative Commons.Shepard Fairey is getting sued by AP over his iconic poster of Obama (center). The Fair Use Project at Stanford is stepping up to help in his defense, and is looking for Creative Commons'd photos of Obama in that pose. My pride welled up even more when I saw their first counter-example is a CC'd photo from a friend of mine. This case is a pivotal moment for the future rights of artists and creators. Steve, in doing the Right Thing with his photo licensing may unintentionally have done the world a great favor. I Creative Commons almost all my creative works, the only time I don't is if I'm doing a Work for Hire and the payer objects. Please, for the sake of our Culture, do the same with yours.You can do so easily with your Flickr account, they did the right thing and made it part of the settings and search engine.
