| 説明 | Las VegasThe manipulation of Earth's climate, also known as geo-engineering has been researched about for several decades. We feel confident that we are now able to control the formation of clouds or violent storms well enough to attempt using it for the production of electricity through wind energy and/or lightning.This project includes the declaration of an area or a state (most likely to be Nevada) by presidential decree into a weather-experimentation zone. Aircraft will then disperse pellets of dry ice into the air over the designated area. Ideally, thunderstorms will regularly form.On the ground, towers or metal rods form so-called lightning fields where a multitude of these structures await being struck. When that occurs, the transferred energy is being stored in the field's capacitors/batteries to be collected after the storm has subsided.We expect minimal resistance from the inhabitants of the designated areas as they are extremely sparsely populated. However, both Reno and Las Vegas are more densely populated and also economically strong and it remains to be seen how the local population reacts. The social scientists involved in the project have expressed that they would not be surprised if the notoriously versatile Las Vegas would even embrace the changes in its environment. |
