| 説明 | This is the reason I've not been snapping many photos this fall. The new (old) abode had a cariage house / garage with a roof that was falling in. Insurance guy said we had 30 days to fix it, or lose insurance. I tried to repair, but the inspector said it wasn't built to code in the first place, so I got a stop work notice. Changes required historic district approval. They meet once per month. Needed to increase the pitch. Drafted plans. Got approval. The folks at the City of Rockville were very helpful and pleasant, which made the process easier.Started working. Got cool toys (nailgun) :-) Found nailgun does a nice job attaching fingers to header boards :-(I could have used your help Mr. Greenjeans!My brother and his sons helped put the shingles on over Thanksgiving... It started raining. It was cold and miserable.Next few photos show the progress toward the completed project. Now I can get back to taking photos!! |
