| 説明 | I Chose Alex Gupton as my tenth stranger when we walked into his studio/shop as he was working on his latest project; tiled designs on surfboards. He also had numerous graphic pieces involving very detailed pen and ink. Despite the detail he said he is not a real patient person and given the amount of energy and enthusiasm he has we found it amazing that he could hold still to do such fine work. Surfboards are real, usually broken or damaged ones that he can recycle, although in a pinch he'll use a new one. He's been on the Big Island for about nine years and likes the Keahou area of Kona better than his previous habitat in Wyoming, Utah, the Dakotas....
