| 説明 | 1992-1997Volvo 850 PlatformSaloonI always regarded the 850 as a bridge between the RWD classic Volvos and the F/AWD models of today, but the timing clearly indicates that Volvo intended it as a direct replacement for its 240 series (itself a replacement for the 140, which had figured in the lineup for 25 years). It's hard to argue with the kind of numbers those 140/240s put up, but the 850 did a creditable job; you can see echoes of the past -- here, Volvo are keen to pay homage to the 240 -- while unmistakably linking it to the crisp folds of the 740/760 series. Rear quarter windows lend a conservative air to the whole C-Pillar, but for Volvo, that's not a minus. |
