| 説明 | This is one of the three Bizzarini P538 barchettas built, one of two with a 5.3 liter Chevy V8- hence "53" and "8" (barchetta = little boat, in italian, a poetic name for a small, 2 seat, open top car. ) You can find a couple of histories of these very attractive cars out on the net. I know nothing personally to ad to those accounts, but it surely is a pretty car. Sr. Bizzarrini hoped to have his cars raced in CanAm and at Le Mans but they were not notably successful.
