| 説明 | This looks like a throwaway, but I deliberately set myself up on the loading dock with all the empty crates in the background. I like the intersecting lines in the photo: the roofline sweeping back, the vector of motion of the walking men; their line of sight towards me at the wall. I got lucky with the lighting, as well.Once the show is over large crews of workers arrive to remove the carpets, dismantle the booth exhibits and bring the empty exhibit crates into the hall from where they are stored outside. The workers are represented by several different (and occasionally competing) unions, and the work rules often border on the absurd. It has always been, for me, an impressive and sometimes comic scene, since I worked my first trade show in January of 1985. |
