| 説明 | Tony, or Guide Tru'ong Ton went on about a photo op with a big boa. Well, boas are found only in South America so this was a python, quite common in that region. And this is an all too frequent photo op with a large python around your neck. I was glad there were no takers on this one. Although I hate snakes, and will run miles from them, I am an animal lover and do not believe in stressing out the creatures and exploiting them for our pleasure. So although this was an animal I generally hate, it would have been very stressful on it if he were to be passed on from person to person while they grin into the camera with it around their necks. The snake was returned safely to it's cage a few minutes later with no one opting for this goofy photo opportunity. (Mekong Delta, Vietnam, Nov. 2016) |
