| 説明 | The construction of the Military Road (B6318) not only required the laying of the carriageway foundations and surface, but also its lining with drystone walls across enclosed areas. Although it is often called 'General Wade's Military Road', Mashall Wade in fact died in 1748 before the survey for the road began (in 1749) and is thus wrongly blamed for the destruction of much of the curtain wall in the eastern and central sectors.
