| 説明 | Lambeth Bridge and River Thames, London (Grade II). This road bridge was built between 1929 and 1932, by Sir George Humphreys, with Sir Reginald Blomfield and George Topham Forrest as consulting architects. It is a five-span steel arch structure, 236.5m in length, painted predominently red as a reference to the colour of benches in the House of Lords. It is half in Lambeth (where I was) and half in the City of Westminster. I have cropped out the parts of this photo that were blurred due to getting a wet camera!GOC Hertfordshire's walk on 12 November 2016, a 7.4-mile point-to-point walk to look at various artworks, statues and memorials in parts of the London Borough of Lambeth and City of Westminster in London, including Lambeth, Westminster, Belgravia and Hyde Park. John T led the walk, which was attended by 13 people in total (and a dog).
