| 説明 | 29 November 2006Blokker has several large stickers in their window of a Zwarte Piet character. It appears to be a black woman who has darkened up her skin for the photo shoot. They also use this imagine in their print ads.Zwarte Piet is supposed to be a child, so, like Peter Pan, he's often depicted by a woman. Some folks, not quite understanding why the images alarm Americans, explain the Zwarte Piet is not actually black, but rather has soot on him from going up and down chimneys. Maybe he has a special magic which keeps his clothes brights and turns his lips bright red? |
