| 説明 | More than 70 veterans, volunteers and support staff attended the Sixth Annual Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF) Fly Fest Dec. 2-4 at Harman’s Luxury Log Cabins near Petersburg, West Virginia. The event was hosted by the PHWFF Quantico program and included more than 45 wounded warriors from seven different PHWFF programs: Fort Belvoir, Quantico, Shenandoah Valley, Charleston (South Carolina), Shepherd Spinal Center (Atlanta), Crystal Coast (North Carolina) and Martinsburg (West Virginia). It was cold and windy but there was no rain or snow and the North Fork of the South Branch of the Potomac River was in great shape. Fishing was excellent throughout the weekend with many vets catching their first trout and others catching the largest trout of their life, up to 24”. (photo by Juli Hedrick) |
