| 説明 | The scenic five lakes in Beijing, Zhonghai Lake, "the Sea of the Middle" and Nanhai Lake, "the Sea of the South" (Zhonghai and Nanhai are commonly merged into one name Zhongnanhai, "the Sea Palaces", allocated by the central government of China and used as the office/leaders' housings); Beihai Lake, "the Sea of the North" (which is now a very famous park); Qianhai Lake, "the Sea of the Forward"; and Houhai, "the Sea of the Backward" (Qianhai and Houhai are commonly named after the surrounding ten temples as "Shichahai", "the Sea surrounded by ten temples"). I took this photo in front of Houhai, which is known by its "Path of the Pubs". |
