| 説明 | A group of eight Veterans and eight Volunteers traveled to the private waters on Beaver Creek in Ottobein, Virginia, Nov. 20, as the guests of landowner Jerry Black. The trip was made possible by the late Bill Cartwright, Shenandoah PHWFF Program Lead, who organized the trip prior to his passing. Although the day was cold, very windy and included light blowing snow, the Volunteer guides did an outstanding job under tough conditions to help everyone hook or catch fish.A Fort Belvoir PHWFF alum, Stetson Bardfield (and his family), joined the trip for the day. The Bardfield’s are currently stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado but were in the area for medical appointments. (Photo by Juli Hedrick) |
