| 説明 | On September 22, I ordered from Amazon a pair of funky hair clippers that use a different mechanism to cut hair compared to conventional hair clippers that I've been using for years. I didn't get around to trying them out until last week. I don't like them and will never use them again. Today I called Amazon and asked if I could return them, 2.5 months after ordering them. They are perfectly functional, I just don't like them. They said that they have a 30 day return policy, but that they would make a one-time exception in this case. They then told me that they would credit my charge card for the purchase price, and that I could discard the clippers, because I've used the unit, they can't do anything with it.So they just swallowed $40 on my behalf. Why? Several possibilities:1. I've spent thousands of dollars at Amazon over the years and this is my first return.2. They're feeling the heat from Zappos.com and Zappos' famous customer is always right policy.3. It's the holiday season and we're in a recession. Amazon has a heart.4. While I was on hold, the customer service agent checked out my facebook profile and has a crush on me.The picture is of my new cool soap dish. From Amazon. |
