| 説明 | Kaitata - Ahipera, NZ 27 Oct 2005We had dinner tonight at the Bushmen's Hut in Kaitaia. It was quite good. Mary Ellen had pork chops with warm apple salad and excellent kumara (like sweet-potato) fritters. I have a good sirloin steak and potatoes, our total was NZ $44.We head back to the Endless Summer hostel. On the way, we catch the tail end of a beautiful purple-pink sunset. It was quite outstanding. [but no photos, couldn't catch this one... the beautiful one that got away.]When we get back, we split a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc; sitting at the long, log table out back. We gave some of the wine to 2 young Japanese men, both planning to be in NZ for 12 months. One has been in NZ for 11 months. THey admired football... the Seatttle Seagulls.i103005 011 |
