| 説明 | Here's a look at the Pearl Harbor Historical Sites. 7 years ago we went to the USS Arizona Memorial seen here on the right (white rectangle). This year we went to the Pacific Aviation Museum right by the tower in the background.You really can spend a whole day in Pearl Harbor if you wanted to experience everything they have to offer. I still haven't been to the USS Missouri battleship or the USS Bowfin submarine. USS Missouri is known for being where Japan signed the Japanese Instrument of Surrender in WWII.Pretty crazy how quickly we forget. At the time, the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941 was the largest attack on the US by far with 2400 lives lost. This is only surpassed by the 9-11 attack with 3000 lives lost. On the same morning as the Pearl Harbor attack, Japan also attacked Hong Kong beginning the battle of Hong Kong which Canadians fought in.www.wilsonhui.com |
