| 説明 | The old church of St Nicholas Radford was consecrated in 1874 and stood close to where the present building. On the night of November 14th 1940 it took a direct hit from a land mine and was completely destroyed. The explosion was also responsible for the deaths of four local people.The new church was built from 1955-7 by Lavender, Twentyman and Percy. It is of brick, of hanger shape with inward sloping walls. Two bells hang in the tower which is attached to the main entrance. |
