| 説明 | Although sporadic in alpine and subalpine settings, this species is more common and robust at lower montane elevations. In the understory of lodgepole pine along the John Muir Trail, this woodrush often stands upward of 1 meter. The drooping panicles bearing flowers less than 3 mm long, each with tepals and bracts that are not ciliate, are distinguishing of this species. The closed leaf sheath and hairy collar region are diagnostic traits of woodrushes. This site is by McClure Meadows along Evolution Creek. |
