| 説明 | I went to an orchid show this weekend, and besides enjoying the flowers themselves, I discovered an artist named Sumner Silverman who creates wonderfully detailed jewelry. He calls it "species-specific, " since each flower is botanically accurate. He patiently took the time to answer my questions and was truly a man who delights in his work. Sumner handcarves the models himself from which the jewelry molds are made. The works are then cast in the molds. Each piece is truly lovely as well as fascinating to look at.
