| 説明 | We stopped for a late dinner in Kuala Ligan. It is a small town stuck well into the hills and like much of that area although untouched by the Tsuname had suffered during the conflict. I had not been here since October 2005. The owner of the restaurant Dharmawan pointed across the street and said 'you see people are out on the streets again, it is because of the peace, before people were too scared to stay in the street.' It was great to walk through the town seeing how it was awaking from the torpor of conflict. The villagers in the picture are erecting a new market using communal labour, known as 'gotong royong'. |
