| 説明 | Another look at the erstwhile Russian 4E10 electric locomotive lying disused at Tbilisi train station. I was fascinated that I was able to see elusive Russian locomotives 'in the flesh', albeit in this state. The 4E10 is a four-axle freight DC electric locomotive with electro-dynamic braking capacity of 2680 kW and maximum speed of 100 km/h. ТЛ-2К motors with one-hour duty of 670 kW are used as traction. Although this information mentions this as a freight locomotive and later says that this class of electric locomotive is intended for shunting work, the 4E10 appears to be the mainstay on the Georgian Railway for general purpose work.
