This stop will serve the existing residential population, the retail area of Parnell Street including the ILAC Centre and facilitate the proposed regeneration of Dominick Street by Dublin City Council. To accommodate track work and footway improvement works, Dominick Street Lower has been made one way northbound between Parnell Street Lower and Bolton Street junction. Similarly, Dominick Street Upper will also operate northbound only during the summer with local temporary alterations to traffic flow as track installation work progresses along the street. However, when Luas Cross City is complete traffic flow on Dominick Street Lower and Upper will be southbound only with the exception of between Bolton Street and Mountjoy Street where two-way traffic flow will be permitted. |
