Flower stalks feature 2"" blue purple flowers, w/ yellow centers, in the fall. Flowers have curled petals. Spreading rhizome. Selected as an AHS '75 Great American Garden Plants'. Only 25 perennials were selected (plus 25 trees, 25 shrubs). Planted 2010. Will probably need to cut back root system next year. Spreads!#Aster" |
