| 説明 | A Lovell's Island photo. I think I took this one on the first day that I got my camera (a Powershot S70, one of the nicer digicams around at the time and still capable of taking some pretty decent shots) and was still figuring out some of the settings. I was experimenting with "macro mode" at the time, and saw this butterfly and bumblebee sitting on a thistle together. Click, and here you are. Fortunately it was a very sunny day, so even hand-held I managed to get it pretty sharp. I still rarely bother with tripods, as I find that by the time I can get one set up -- even if the camera was already attached -- the picture I was trying to take has up and gone. They can make it hard to get in at the angle I want, too. Anyway, for a while this was my very favorite of my photos. A bee and a bumblebee, living in harmony on a spiney thistle! Glee! |
