| 説明 | This is the foyer to the centre of the Trichur Pooram festivities- the Vadukkanathan Hindu temple. I loved the bright lighting and the overall festive feel of the place. And I really loved that tower in the foreground for oil lamps, which is a standard feature in most Kerala Hindu temples. Of course I did not attempt to go into the temple itself as I am not particularly religious, at any rate, it would have been total chaos inside, I had a large Nikon D90 dSLR around my neck which may cause some problems as most Hindu temples frown upon photography, I'd had a long day, and at any rate the main aim of this trip was to see the elephant parade!
