| 説明 | We had a great meetup at Tam Makers on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, in our new makerspace at Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley. At 6pm, we hosted tours and demos of recent work by community members, including a music box, a robot duck and an illuminated spiderweb. At 6:30pm, we started a group discussion, introduced new members and gave personal updates, then talked about our fall classes and next steps for Tam Makers. At 7:30, we built a geodesic dome together.Participants included makers, artists, teachers and students. Many of them seemed interested in joining Tam Makers and taking classes, ranging from maker art to technology and woodworking. Many offered to volunteer as well. We’re really happy to see our community grow through these meetups -- and that so many folks want to participate actively.
