| 説明 | 1967-1968Ford Mustang/Falcon PlatformCoupeFull disclosure: I spent the formative first five years of my life in the back seat of a '69 Cougar, so of course I'm going to be biased. These first four years of Cougar were based directly off the Mustang with a wheelbase stretch of three inches, most of which resided visually in that C-Pillar. It is not, visually, the lightest looking, and the extra creasing (eliminated for 69-70) adds some overly baroque visual interest, but it's cleaner than most of its contemporaries. Ponycar styling didn't hit its stride until the next generation (70-1/2 Camaro, 70 'Cuda, 69 Mustang/Cougar), but this was probably the most clearly stated purpose of its time (i.e. amongst its contemporaries). |
