| 説明 | Waving goodbye to me as I fly from Christchurch to Auckland to catch a return flight to Germany. This is the northernmost point of the south island. I didn't make it onto the Spit itself, which is a protected bird sanctuary, but Dave and I camped at Cape Farewell, the spot in this picture just before where the "arm" gets really skinny. |
