The interstage will be lifted into place atop the rocket in preparation for the upcoming launch of the Joint Polar Satellite System-1 (JPSS-1).JPSS, a next-generation environmental satellite system, is a collaborative program between the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and NASA.
