説明 | Guimarães Rosa is one of the great writers in portuguese, his work "Grande Sertão: Veredas" was the start for a very interesting interactive exposition at the Museu da Língua Portuguesa.Fixed on a window, there was his definition of various birds, including, yes, *SPARROW* ^v^ (best viewed in larger size)"Sparrow (Passer domesticus): all-eater. Little brat. Voice: chilpa, chilia (both are *chirp*), dibidibe (*chirpirp*), dividivide (this one is a little bit fun, because it's the same as before [chirpirp], but literally from portuguese, can be 'shar-share'). Only lives near humans.Nicknames: winged-puppy, tackle-tackle, bird-ol, eat-eat, es-bird-im, starlin-geethe little female: sparrow-ee, sparrow-chee, spa-wow-tee, spee-wowsparrows sparrow-lam."(note: ok, so Guimarães Rosa played and collected the term 'pardal' [sparrow] in its variations. Why not I can't have fun with 'sparrow' too?^v') |
