| 説明 | One of the sculptures from St Pancras Parish Church facing the Euston Road.They are copied from the The Porch of Maidens on the Acropolis by a sculptor named Rossi.According to a gentleman I met whilst taking these pictures, Rossi, or a member of his staff incorrectly measured the hight between the floor of the porch and the ceiling, forcing him to slice a section out of the belly of each statue in order to make it fit. |
