| 説明 | This batch of elephants in now ready to move, as the 'lead' elephant with the shield takes a few steps forward and the guy with the torch checks his flame. This is one of the very few single flame torches, most of the others I had seen had six flames. Aren't the pachyderms majestic? Not all of them were in prime condition though- I noticed a few of them with sores and injuries. (Trichur/ Thrissur, Kerala, India, Apr. 2016) |
